That bust Marner is dragging down both Bozak and JVR. The stats prove it!

Edit: how the (frank) is Marincin above 50%? I hate Corsi.

One more bottom draft year. Take the Dman. Next year cap space. Look out. Or whatever. Not our year this year. Baby steps. Hopefully a good player will be there at 6th-12th for us. In Hunter the trust.

lol, hovering around 50 is fine, it's when they drop to the low 40's that it becomes troubling.

Certainly those numbers just confirms what people have been saying about the Hunwick-Polak disaster duo all along.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas selected him from us in the expansion draft.

I'm not trying to discredit your CF stats but I find a flaw in anything that tells me Hyman is better than Mariner.

Yeah...those stats need work. Though I won't go so far as to say they're useless. Sens suck.

so if the buds do in fact trade jvr .... who takes his place??
same with nylander who plays instead of him ( although playing on the forth line right now feels like he is in babcocks doghouse)

also what would we realistically get for with one of those two being the center piece of a deal. i dont think people are trade straight up atm

also agree with addition by subtracting hunwick, polak and marincin. hell if ottoawa would take them i would glady take back the human pylon that is phaneuf.

he would be an improvement over any of those three........ as long he pulls a kaberle and stops shooting the puck immediately

I think it's more a reflection of how good that entire line is, than Hyman individually.

Marner is a superior player, but he's not perfect. He cheats a lot, and gets caught, which leads to more shots on the Leafs net when he's on the ice than any other Leaf forward, but he generates almost as many for, and they are often higher quality chances, so he should keep doing what he's doing.

He plays with Gardner a lot. That's a big reason.

Put him with Hunwick and he's going to plummet to 40 as well.
